Mighty oak
My wife and I are hoping to have a natural solid oak kitchen installed.What are the main things to considerwhen using oak?
Oak has the appearance and properties which have made it one of the most enduring and popular timbers for the production of high-quality furniture. European oak in particular has a unique combination of grain and colour that gives it real strength of character. A careful selection of knot content and other natural features can further enhance the overall effect. A choice of natural finishes including waxes and oils can be used to help enhance the grain and overall appearance.
