This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Rencraft Ltd & Rencraft (TW) Ltd collects about you, how we use it, who we share it with and how long we retain it for.

Who we are?

Rencraft Ltd are designers and manufacturers of kitchens and furniture based on Chart Farm near Sevenoaks.

Rencraft (TW) Ltd are designers and suppliers of Rencraft Ltd kitchens and furniture based in Tunbridge Wells. Rencraft (TW) Ltd are also approved SieMatic partners.

Both Rencraft Ltd and Rencraft (TW) Ltd provide services and sell products to our customers.

To enable us to deliver on these services, we collect and store personal information from our clients and potential clients. This processing is necessary to allow us to best perform our contract with our clients or in order to take steps at their request prior to entering into such a contract.

We always keep any personal information safe and secure and take a proactive approach to being compliant with government regulations about data protection.

What information do we collect about you?

We only collect information which we feel is relevant to us either performing our contract with you or because you have asked us to carry out specific steps, such as sending you one of our brochures or providing you with an initial quote or design consultation, prior to us entering into a contract.

Personal information we collect may include:

• Telephone number
• Architects plans or drawings where relevant to the furniture we are planning to provide
• Other relevant information incl. but not limited to project budget, timescale, builders details etc.

How do we collect information about you?

We collect information if you fill out an online brochure request or contact us form, if you visit us in our showrooms and if you telephone us or email us. We may also collect information such as names or addresses that are already in the public domain in order to carry out direct marketing campaigns targeting potential clients who we believe may have a legitimate interest in our products.

How will we use the information about you?

The information we collect about you is used in a number of ways, either because such use is necessary to enable us to perform or pursue our contract with you or because we believe there is a legitimate interest between us.

Examples of ways in which we use the information we collect include, but may not be limited to, sending you a brochure, arranging a meeting with you, providing you with an initial design or quote, liaising with you regarding your enquiry, taking your order, processing your order, delivering and installing your furniture and providing you with any necessary aftercare services you may require.

Who we share your information with

To enable us to perform our contract with you we may need the help of certain other trusted third party providers and suppliers. For example, we may need to instruct a third party stone fabricator to template and fit your worktop, or we may recommend the use of a third party painter and/ or fitter to paint and fit your kitchen. To enable us to price and process your order we enter your details into a secure system called KBB which is owned and managed by a third party called Smart Systems.

As such, Rencraft Ltd and Rencraft (TW) Ltd will share your information with these external companies or other organisations. The providers we work with only use your personal information for the purposes we stipulate and are strictly prohibited from using your data for any other reason. We never sell your information to any organisations.

Our providers support us in the services we supply to you, helping us to best perform our contract.

How long do we keep your personal information?

Rencraft Ltd and Rencraft (TW) Ltd are proud to provide furniture which lasts tens of years and, as such, we feel it is beneficial to our clients for us to keep a record of their plans, drawings and contact details securely in our archives for an indefinite period of time.

The information we hold is not used for marketing purposes but does enable us to provide a high level of customer service and aftercare to our clients, and to fulfil the lifetime guarantee we offer on our cabinetry as part of our contract with you.

Unless you instruct us otherwise, Rencraft Ltd and Rencraft (TW) Ltd will also securely store information from potential clients on an indefinite basis as well. This is because we have found that many kitchen and furniture designs are connected to building projects which can, in some cases, take a number of years to complete. We consider retaining relevant contact details and designs carried out at your request to be one of the steps towards potentially entering into a contract with you when you are ready to do so.

Your rights concerning your data

Under the General Data Protection Regulation individuals have a number of rights relating to the data that a company holds about them. These include –
