Barn Restoration Ightham, nr Sevenoaks

PROJECT DETAILS

This calm, inviting kitchen space provided the perfect opportunity to showcase our Modular Kitchen range.

The simple, square wide door pattern aligns with our clients’ choice of a soft, neutral colour scheme – helping to create a light, bright space where the high ceilings, exposed beams and other architectural features of the property are allowed to truly shine. The use of unlipped birch-ply for the shelves and cutlery inserts, a signature feature of our Modular ktchen range, further underlines this celebration of natural features and materials.

We believe this design is both beautiful in its simplicity and yet clever in its functionality. The ceiling extractor has been concealed behind one of the supporting beams, the area by the door has been turned into a boot room and utility, while the alcoves have been repurposed to provide both a walk-in pantry and some wine storage.

The Modular Kitchen; quality without compromise.

Brief

  • The clean lines and simple, unfussy style of The Modular Kitchen appealed to this local family who desired a large, open-plan kitchen for their beautiful barn restoration located in the pretty village of Ightham, near Sevenoaks.

Finish

  • Our clients chose a crisp, clean white-on-white colour scheme incorporating hand-painted cabinets and 50mm Corian worktops in Sparkling White.

Best Feature

  • We love the neutral colour scheme, the open-plan layout and the carefully considered use of space. Most of all, we love seeing our clients truly embracing the concept of The Modular Kitchen and achieving such fantastic results.
