This bespoke kitchen combines various different textures in one beautiful design.
The hand-painted cabinetry has a plain, narrow door frame which helps to give the room a contemporary spin. Accents of exposed wood have been used to complement the shades of blue used. Flat-fronted, Smoked Oak doors have been for the main run of tall units and also for the dovetail drawers included within the wall unit, creating a dramatic contrast.
This Smoked Oak is worthy of special mention, with a lovely textured finish that celebrates the naturally occurring patterns within the grain of the wood.
Our focus on texture and materials continues elsewhere in the room, creating interest at every turn. Frosted glass windows have been used within the larder cabinets, Dekton has been used for the worktops, and a mirrored kick-back has been used behind the bar stools.
Storage is also key – with an appliance garage, a double-door larder cupboard with marble cold shelf, solid wood drawer boxes, a ‘Le Mans’ corner solution, a wine rack and drawers kitted out with handmade cutlery inserts.
Custom made knobs and bar handles complete the look, with appliances including integrated Miele ovens, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge freezers, Hotpoint fridge drawers, Caple wine cooler, two Bora hobs with tepanyaki grill and built-in extractors, an Evoline port and a Quooker.
The bespoke dining table is also by Rencraft, while the two shades of blue paint used were mixed to match our client’s requirements, giving a truly personal finish.
