A Splash of Colour

Traditional Farmhouse
These clients inherited a 20-year-old Rencraft kitchen and they were so impressed with the durability, build quality and functionality of the furniture that after extending their home they visited our showroom.
The Brief
The initial brief was to design a kitchen with the focus very much on entertaining.
The result is a beautiful design that complemented their rural location, and almost blurs the boundary between the inside and outside space. The panoramic view from the windows provided the perfect backdrop for a seamless connection between the kitchen and outdoor barbecue area.
The existing Rencraft kitchen was even repurposed in another area of house, such is the build quality which truly does stand the test of time.
Symmetry is beautifully represented in the main run of furniture, giving a uniform appearance, whilst matching the equally considered use of colour.
Throughout this design is colour and creativity, drawing the eye to the beautiful details, such as the oak cupboard with the painted interior, and the stunning island providing an eye-catching feature in a striking teal colour with Silestone Eternal Statuario worktops.
Gaggenau appliances feature throughout to complement the outdoor cooking space. A Gaggenau oven, combi oven and warming drawer, matched perfectly with a BORA hob which overlooks the island seating area.
A large sleek Gaggenau fridge and freezer ensures there is never a shortage of fresh supplies, all beautifully housed within a tall L-shaped run. A beautiful larder with solid oak internals is the perfect space for food and appliance storage.
It was such a pleasure working with enthusiastic clients who had a vision and a great eye for detail and colour. You only need to look at the clever flashes of colour that complement the natural oak tones and reeded glass to see what a rewarding partnership this was.
