Rencraft are delighted to continue our long standing relationship with Corian® Solid Surfaces as established members of their Quality Network.
Both our Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells showrooms are certified Home Design Partners, which means we are qualified to offer consumers exceptional levels of expertise in Corian® worksurfaces. Our designers have been trained to the highest standards and have the full back-up and support of Corian® – from the latest colours and innovations, through to technical advice and post-installation care guidance.
Working alongside our approved Industrial Partners, we take pride in designing and installing some truly beautiful Corian® worksurfaces for our clients’ homes.
When it comes to selecting your preferred worktop material, we can advise on a range of options including quartz, granite and, of course, Corian®. Here’s what you need to know…
What is Corian®? Corian® is a man-made, acrylic based advanced premium material used to create work surfaces for a number of indoor and outdoor spaces – most notably the kitchen or bathroom.
Why choose Corian®? Corian® is known for it’s versatility. It can be moulded to any shape or size, allowing for smooth, uninterrupted runs of worksurface with no obvious joins. This makes it a great choice in terms of aesthetics, functionality, hygiene and design, with 50 years worth of proven reliability around the world. In your kitchen it helps ensure clean lines and a sense of ‘flow’ between each of the different zones. It can also allow for the seamless introduction of splashbacks, shelving, breakfast bars and more – with plenty of colours to choose from.
How do I take care of my Corian®? Corian® is hygienic and easy to clean with a smooth, nonporous surface that does not allow liquids to penetrate. This means that bacteria and mould have nowhere to take root. Beautiful, built to last and easy to maintain, we would always recommend the use of trivets and chopping boards to help protect and preserve the lifetime of your worksurface. If you opt for a Corian® sink then some taps may not be compatible, your designer can talk you through your options and preferences to ensure you get the best solution for your home.
You can see Corian® on display in both our Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells showrooms, where we also have numerous samples for you to peruse.
