Around this time last week there was a sense of excitement and nervous anticipation in the Rencraft office. We were about to host our first ever Open Evening in association with Gaggenau.
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, with our recently revamped Sevenoaks showroom showcasing numerous bespoke designs alongside our newly launched Modular Kitchen range and our partnership with leading, high-end German appliance manufacturer Gaggenau giving us three great reasons to celebrate!
A few weeks beforehand the invitations had been sent to numerous clients, developers and architects, the wine had been ordered (English Sparking Wine from Kent’s very own Hush Heath vineyard) and Gaggenau’s incredibly talented Home Economist had been booked to demonstrate a selection of appliances while simultaneously creating some delicious canapes for our guests.
The menu sounded mouth-watering; Focaccia prepared on a baking stone in the 400 series Gaggenau oven, Mongolian Steak cooked on the Gaggenau full surface induction hob and served in lettuce cups and bitesize Chocolate Brownies were all washed down with a glass (or two) of fizz – which had, of course, been kept nice and chilled in the Gaggenau Vario 400 series refrigerator.
It was a pleasure to be able to chat to clients, old and new, and to spend some time relaxing in our showroom. We would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to everyone who attended. We hope you had as much fun as we did. Here’s to the next one, cheers!
