Bespoke:
Made to measure
for your lifestyle.

Designing and tailoring every element of your kitchen makes for a special journey. Together with your dedicated designer, you’ll select every detail, from materials and colours to appliances and custom cabinets. The finished result is a totally individual kitchen, fine-tuned to your space and lifestyle.

What makes a bespoke kitchen?

The beauty of a bespoke kitchen is in the flexibility it affords. Every element is designed and built just how you’d like it. We approach each project as a blank canvas, and getting to know you and the way you use your kitchen is key to creating the perfect design.

Rencraft furniture is handmade by us in our Sevenoaks workshop. We use traditional craftsmanship, modern machinery and top quality materials to ensure each kitchen is designed to stand the test of time.

Why we love bespoke kitchens

Style

Our designers will use their decades of experience to suggest ideas that are sympathetic to the period and character of your home. We have designed kitchens for listed manor houses, barn conversions, modern new-builds and everything in between. Whether we complement or contrast your property’s architectural features, we’ll create a space that flows seamlessly.

Detail

From chamfered posts to worktops with waterfall edges, the difference is in the detail. Our drawers can reveal solid wood cutlery organisers, peg boards and more, while our cornices are precision cut to provide a simple or ornate finish to suit the grandeur of the room. Every little detail can be customised, even down to choosing copper, brass or chrome exposed hinges to complement the handles.

Personality

By customising every element, we create a kitchen that is as individual as you are. From mood lighting and bespoke bar areas for regular party hosts, to show-stopping appliances for passionate chefs. From plentiful storage for large families, to biophilic design elements for those who love to connect with the natural world. With a bespoke kitchen, no two designs are ever the same.

Behind the scenes of our bespoke kitchens

Solid materials

We pride ourselves on producing quality kitchens that last a lifetime. Our in-frame doors and frames are made of solid wood, such as responsibly sourced oak, walnut or tulipwood. Our unit carcasses are made with plywood, for strength and durability, while our drawer boxes are each handmade with either comb or dovetail joints to suit. Our kitchens are designed to withstand decades of daily use.

Hand-painted

Choose a hand-painted kitchen by Rencraft and there is no limit to the range of colours available. From neutral to pastel, bold to blends, we can source any tint or tone to suit your kitchen. A hand-painted design also offers the flexibility to have the doors and frames repainted in the future for a change of colour scheme.

Expert guidance

We’ll use our years of experience and our friendly, down-to-earth approach to guide you through every step of your journey. We have neat tricks for incorporating structural challenges and quirks, and we’ll propose ideas you may not have considered. Our knowledge extends to appliances and styling too, resulting in a kitchen that is both beautiful to look at and a joy to use.
